The Seductive Succubus Blog Tour

Hello Everyone and welcome to the first day of the Seductive Succubus Blog Tour for my anthology, Seductress: Erotic Tales of Immortal Desire!
I suppose, being the editor, it makes sense that I kick it off.  We’ve got a lot of interesting stops along the way and I’ll tell you about them shortly.  First, though, I’d like to tell you a little about the book.

Seductress is first and foremost a book about succubi.  It makes sense, right?  After all, a succubus is a creature built around carnality.  She’s so sexy and seductive, no one can say no to her.  She’s made that way for a reason; she needs sex to live.  She needs to absorb another’s culmination of sexual ecstasy, (read: orgasm) or she will fade away and cease to exist.  It’s sad, but true.

I’m sure you can imagine how difficult it must be to find willing human males (and females) to have sex with, especially when you’re drop-dead gorgeous.

Yeah.  Me neither… Hence the reason it makes sense to put an erotica anthology together around the subject.

Second, and here’s why it makes sense for me to put such an anthology together: succubi, by their very nature, are dominant.  Yeah, even I didn’t see that one coming.  Well, ya live and learn.  But it makes sense.  She needs what she needs and so she directs the action to make sure she gets it.  Sure, she can, and sometimes does, let the guy think he’s in charge.  Well, you know, a lot of them like that, so I suppose it makes her life easier, but make no mistake: she’s the boss.

So, what will you find in Seductress: Erotic Tales of Immortal Desire?  Here is a small sampling of some of the hotness between the covers:

Evan Mora’s fiendish “Starcrossed” casts Romeo and Juliet as the undead, forever cruising for what they crave.

Kaysee Renee Robichaud’s “A Surprising Summons” is both extremely erotic and heartbreakingly painful at the same time.

Aurelia T. Evans’s “Harvest” is all a submissive boy’s heart needs.  Well, maybe not his heart, exactly.  Perhaps something a bit lower down.

Trust me, you want this book.

But don’t take my word for it.  Check out the rest of the blog tour for different takes on the subject.  You’ll visit some of the authors, fans of erotica and people who like their stories a little on the dark side.  There’ll be an interview or two with me, as well.  I, for one, can’t wait to read each post.

  1. What a fabulous idea! I will certainly be checking in at the various station stops along the way.

I knew a succubus once. Like the Sirens in the Odyssey she called men to their doom with her siren song. She was a dominatrix by trade though sexually submissive in her private life. Everything was about the seduction for her. She was very good at it. In fact she seemed to wither and dry up without the adoration she craved. She has since retired and now has a successful book, blog and twitter feed on the subject of seduction. So yes I agree with you that succubi are inherently dominant even if they are really submissive as counter intuitive as that may sound! ;-)

I am looking forward to the succubus tour! :-)
